We will be following the same Open Spaces format as before, along with evening barbecues and lightning talks, and afternoons free for skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hanging out or even hacking. You can see details and the schedule at the information page (begin registering at the bottom of this page).
Myself, all of the Java Posse, and various other fascinating folks will again converge on Crested Butte to exchange ideas and invent new concepts. If you want to know what it's like, we record each session as a podcast so you can listen in -- find those marked "Roundup" at The Java Posse. But don't be intimidated -- you may not think you have much to contribute, but you'll be surprised. Everybody always seems to have something good to bring to the conference whether they know it or not.
This year, we happened to schedule it during one of the college spring breaks so it behooves you to register early, not only to get the early bird discount but also so you can get involved in group house rentals, which more fun and cheaper.
