i am trying to write a program that will take in 2 numbers and convert them to another base. The first number is nothing special just a regular number and the second number is the base the first number is in. I have been trying to come up with a formula that would do the conversion but have had no luck.
In short it needs to be able to do a Conversion from any base to base 10 and vice versa...???
Does anyone have any ideas as to what kind of formula i should use. This has had me stumped to about 2 weeks now.
