HTTP put is not enough I suppose ?

The PUT feature of most HTTP web servers is disabled.
Otherwise it would child's play to wreck a web site.

Suggest you use an FTP program to upload your files.
There are java programs already written for adding ftp features to your programs if you search around such as at: http://www.jars.com/
or jRoundup grabit section at:
http://www.jroundup.com/downloads/index.jsp

HTMLKit now comes with a very easy to use ftp feature for uploading and downloading at: files.http://www.chami.com/html-kit/
