What HTML tag would be used for Swing applets if one is not using Billy Gates' IE? <APPLET CODE="fileName" WIDTH="400" HEIGHT="200"> ... </APPLET> only works in IE, so there has to be a different tag used for Swing applets in Netscape and Opera. does anyone know what it is?

You can use the applet tag for all the web browsers. The JRE has to be installed in order to run swing applets.
