I am very new to java, i want to develop a chat server (intranet) in which i want an applet to communicate with servlet. I am having a server-- Microsoft IIS running(Already one web service is running) and Appache Tomcat 4.0 installed for servlet development.Is there any extra Software need to be installed for servlet applet communication ? pls help
