I'm trying to run a java file, it is an applet where a car.gif image is meant to appear and look as though it is moving. When i run it though, i get the message:

~ Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main
Press any key to continue... ~

What could b causing that??

Applet is meant to be displayed in a browser and doesn't need a main method. However, when you run a class you must have a main method. When you are trying to run your class it is looking for main method and you don't have it.

Thanks
