Well, in order to have a realistic rendered hang man, swinging in the wind, dripping blood, moaning and twitching on the gallows, you will need to use the Java 3D API (javax.media.j3d and javax.vecmath packages). You can download this from http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/3D/. Let us know if you have any further specific questions once you get going on that...
