hi i really need help
i need to connect to all data source names in any computer by a wizard created by java so i need a method in java doing that means getting all the dsn in some one computer

That's an operating specific type of program.

Windows specific.

You have to look at the Windows Registry.

Java does not supply standard or extensions that do this.

You would be better served by getting a Type 4 jdbc driver for your database type.

It has the list of all the jdbc drivers.

The following link lists all the vendors who have endorsed jdbc
http://java.sun.com/products/jdbc/industry.html

Then no dsn or odbc connection is required.
Oracle has type 4 drivers. They work very well.
Oracle is java ready.
