No, that just creates some bullet holes. To create a war, you need the big guns: religion, politics, prejudice and greed.

Did you read the article at the link? Or was that too much trouble?

It is not about the question being stupid or smart, it is about the smart way to post questions.

What you essentially seem to be asking is "Will someone please type 'how to create a war file' into Google for me, then post the answer here?"

Hi All,

There is no "Short way to Right Place", so all need to do hard findings and read then post a query before hard work it is foolish work...

pls do post/query that are chalangable...to our life

hi matt....

Thanks 4 ur reply.I am a beginner in the field of java.I hav litl knwledge abt jsp and servlets.But i am totally new 2 webservers.I have theory knowledge but no practical experience.I have started with Jboss.In the deploy folder i could find a jmx-console.war I have renamed it as a diff war file and put my class file within the web-inf/classes folder and modify the deployment descriptor.Its working fine with servlets as well as Jsp.I dont knw whether this is the correct way of deploying.I have heard that we have to create our war file and then deploy it which is not happening in this case.So plz tell is it the correct way...
