Hi,

Sorry if this topic is in the wrong forum i wasn't sure where to post.
I was wondering when do we need an RDBMS engine? I am currently developing an inventory system using java and MS Access. (single user single descktop computer). Do i need the RDBMS engine?
Can't MS Access perform the updates,inserts or deletes from my java application?
