JDK Download Site - What happened to being User Friendly?? Posted: Jun 11, 2009 1:35 AM

I'm trying to download JDK6 for a Debian distro (Ubuntu) from a Windows machine. The freakin' Sun WebSite automatically leads me to Windows downloads - what type of idiotic behaviour is this??

If I get to the point where I'm downloading a JDK, obviously I should be aware of what type of OS I'm using. Does Sun assume that we are morons??

Really any Sun Developer around to explain this retardedness to me?? Unless the site has just become less User friendly... 2 years ago I downloaded JDK5 for Ubuntu no problem - and *I* was given the option, not some supposedly cool little Script choosing my platform for me!!!

What's happening here?
