How do I get the actual screen resolution?

I need it to center a dialog on the center of the Screen

you can have screen size by using

Dimension screensize=Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getScreenSize();

this returns total screen size
may be this could help u

I never remember to use the Toolkit.
