Personal allowance: There are three levels os personal allowance:
basic amount:£4,615 age 65-74: £6,610 age 75 and over: £6,720
After the personal allowance is taken away from the income, the proportion of the remainder(the taxable pay)which is to be paid as tax is shown in above:
