If you are studying for the Sun Certified Java Programmer exam, then you are probably searching the web for some mock exams. Although there are already many, there is now one more.
My mock exam page offers a set of four comprehensive exams. Each of the four covers eight topics--basics, casting, control flow, exception handling, inheritance, initialization, inner classes, and operators.
In addition to the comprehensive exams, a set of eight topic specific exam are offered. Each covers one of the above mentioned topics.
More topics are being added on a continuing basis.
My page also offers links to other certification resources such as the Java Ranch and Marcus Green's certification page.
First time users should try the topic exam titled "Basics". It is the easiest of all of the exams. In contrast, all of the other exams may appear to be shockingly difficult.
Another good mock exam resource for beginners is the Rules Roundup game at the Java Ranch. It is an applet that presents a question and allows you to submit an answer. When the game is started, the cows are walking around outside of a corral. Each time a correct answer is submitted, the herd gets closer to the corral and one-by-one the cows enter the corral until all of the cows are inside. A link to the Java Ranch is available on my mock exam page at the following URL. Just click on the moose.
