hi all,

please could somebody help me out with something really easy peasy!!!

I'm having trouble converting from short to string.

I have a JTextField.setText(shortVar);

and I'm a tad stuck.

Use either of them

1. JTextField.setText(shortVar + "");
2. JTextField.setText(String.valueOf ( shortVar ));
