I need advice on how to how to configure the applet-pages on my site.
The choise is to use scripts for converting the HTML or not.

These Scripts were needed before for applets to be used with the Java plugin,
when Internet Explorer had an
older Java-version. Nowadays, when Windows XP and Internet Explorer
has no Java, I suspect that this script causes trouble instead.
Is there any point in using a script for converting the HTML
when there is a new Java version from Sun that most people got now?

compare the applets with and without script,
and tell me which ones work best!
