I'm using a JDBC / ADO Bridge to access a MS Access Database.
Everything works fine so far.

Most of the tables use a auto generated long value as index.

Is there a way to get the index of the last inserted row/record?

At the moment before saving I read in all keys, insert the new row, then I compare the old and the new key list to get the new key (using a "not in (...)" sql statement).

Is there any better way to do it?
