Please can someone help me, I know this is not the normal question you experts get asked, but I'd really appreciate an answer.
I've recently been testing a beta version of a new standalone Mozilla web browser 'Mozilla Firebird'.
In-order to get this app to work I had to install a load of plug-ins such as flash player etc.. By mistake I also installed JRE 1.4.2 thinking it was needed to run the browser. (yeah, I know what your thinking!!).
Well, to cut a long story short, I used Add/Remove in win98se and removed JRE which was pretty easy. Or so I thought. It seems that JRE created a file called PAGEFILS.CSP in my WINDOWS directory. The problem is that it's 118.7mb in size, which is a substantial amount of my tiny hard drive.
I would be really grateful if someone could confirm if I can safely delete this file to free up some space now that JRE has been removed. Also will it's removal effect any of my other programs?
