error on accessing the servlet after redeploying

hi
i deployed my webapplication webapp successfully on tomcat.
after making some modifications on webapplication i redeploy my webapplication after removing the same old one.
but while redeploying i got an error message as:war file already in the server.
and also i didnt get any o/p on browser while accessing the servlets.but i can access JSPs after deploying .
plese help me
