I am developing an application that is supposed to scan an incoming ducument for virus using McAfee.Does anyone outhere know how this is to be done??Please help.Please mention any resource which can throw light on it.

If you have McAfee installed and running it scans all files as they are saved to disk, so just saving it to disk should do the trick.

But I want the anti-virus to run from a Java application..just like the way you can check for viruses in any e-mail attachments you receive(e.g Yahoo,hotmail etc)
