There are a number of servlet containers and servers that allow you to run jsp/s. Your best bet would be to install the Latest version of Tomcat from http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/index.html and get started.

The requirements depend from server to server but its a good idea have memory > 64M and a compatible processor on home pc, if you intend to run it as a servlet container. Check for installation requirements before installing.
